New Years Prayer

Wow look at that it's a whole new year! I vow that this year rather than making resolutions for being a better person (sanctification through works? -hmmm) I shall simply say:

Lord God,

mighty Creator of the universe,

and my Abba/Father,

I pray that I will depend more on

You this year, that You will continue

to shape and mold me into the

person You want me to be and

that my joy will be founded in

Your unchanging love.

Amen.

May the Lord do wonderful things for the Kingdom this year, and may He be ever more present in all of our lives. Thankful to be a blessed child of God.
